Today is all about the Isle of Eigg, but the ferry isn’t until 10am, so after an early breakfast at the Arisaig Hotel, I skip back up the coast to have a wander around the Traigh beaches. I then realise that despite a number of trips along this road, I have never walked before on nearby Arisaig Beach (strangely named as it’s not near to Arisaig). So I decide to put it right and I soon discover this wonderful party hidden bay easily accessible from one of the few parking areas along the coast road. Hard to believe I have not found this great little beach before. After a short walk, it’s back to Arisaig to prepare for the ferry to Eigg.
