307. Portpatrick Beach
9 September 2026
Arriving back in Portpatrick after the invigorating lunchtime walk to Port Mora I am feeling a little peckish, but the local harbourside pubs are pretty busy with tourists enjoying the sunshine and I decide against pub grub on this occasion. I walk around the small harbour wall which looks down onto the sandy beach below. Like many villages along this part of the coast, a mini lighthouse stands proud at one end of the harbour, framing the scene rather nicely.
