290. Sandgreen Beach

The clouds begin to part as I make my way around the coast from Brighouse Bay and the patches of blue sky which were previously being snuffed out, are now beginning to win the battle. My next stop is Sandgreen, a small settlement sitting neatly in Fleet Bay with a private (but accessible) beach as part of the Sandgreen Caravan Park. Not being a resident of the Park, and with no beach parking, I have to leave my car beside a telephone box on the narrow approach road. For that reason, I don’t stay long. It’s perfectly peaceful (and empty) as I stroll along the sand here. Some holidaymakers are loading (or unloading) cars at the back of the beach but otherwise it’s silent. The tide is a long way out.
