314. Burghead Beach

The small town of Burghead is built on the site of a Pictish fort and sits on the eastern point of Burghead Bay. Its main sandy beach is on the western side of the town and is backed by pine trees as you had away from town. It’s late, almost 7 o’clock and there is not much daylight left, which creates a dramatic and peaceful environment in which to enjoy an evening walk.
