50. Peninver Beach

After skirting the western and southern coast of Kintyre, the road leads through Campbeltown, the main hub of Kintyre, and up the beautiful east coast where sandy beaches come thick and fast. First up is Peninver, right by the main road, backed a few static homes and very accessible to all, which was just as well because minutes before arriving a big dark cloud dropped its load right on top of the car. The rain didn’t return but the sky was looking angry. An impressive beach, with much to offer.
