Just minutes further up the road from Horgabost lies Nisabost beach (Tràigh Iar), perhaps the easiest Harris beach to access, with parking by the side of the road above the beach. It’s here that many tourists take the iconic photo of Luskentyre sands across the bay.  It’s an easy climb down onto the golden sand, with its high dunes and stunning views.  Many visitors walk along the beach to access the prehistoric standing stone known as Macleod’s stone on the grassland ahead.
