Back on the main A859 from Luskentyre, we follow the south Harris coast road past Seilebost (which I will visit later in the day) to two close beaches either side of a small promontory poking into the Sound of Taransay. To the right lies Horgabost Beach (Tràigh Niosaboist), with easy access via the popular Horgabost campsite. Like all the beaches in south Harris, it’s pristine, photogenic and totally idyllic.
