36. Fidden Beach

After the exertions of Traigh Gheal and Knockvologan, it was a relief and a pleasure to pull up at perhaps Mull’s most accessible beach at Fidden. Just a mile south of Fionnphort and right beside the road back from Knockvologan, Fidden Beach is a stunning bay of white sand littered with granite rocks of all shapes and sizes. With car parking next to Fidden Farm campsite, it’s literally steps from car to beach, and from there the world, or the beach, is your oyster.  This is a fantastic beach to wander around, with so much to take an interest in. Rightly, a very popular spot.
