30. Ardalanish Beach
28 March 2022
It’s literally a three minute drive from the car park at Uisken beach to the small parking area at the back of Ardalanish Beach, or a short walk around the coast. When I arrive at the small car park I discover three University of Glasgow mini-buses parked up. I assume I won’t be having the beach to myself. One of the drivers tells me it’s a geology field trip. As it turns out, I don’t spot a soul on the beach so it’s anyone’s guess where the students were. I walk along the back of the high dunes that frame the bay and back along the shoreline, as is becoming my MO.
