Before I leave the lovely village of Kinghorn, I pop down to the small harbour. I’m glad I have because the walk down the hill passes some lovely old characterful houses with coloured doors and beautifully presented gardens. The harbour itself is immaculate, with a lifeboat station at one end, and the small beach sets it off nicely. Apparently the harbour toilets were honoured in the 2025 Loo of the Year Awards. Beat that.
