205. Gairloch Beach

When I was first here in 2019 I stayed at the Gairloch Hotel but I didn’t venture along the road to visit the town’s large beach. This time round, I made a point of stopping by late on a Saturday afternoon after most of the families enjoying the fine weather had left. It was a balmy evening and the beach was largely empty as I scrambled down from a small car park by the road. This is a lovely beach, with high dunes, impressive rock formations and deep sand.
