I didn’t know about this beach when I planned my trip. It was recommended to me by the lady from the Ardnamurchan lighthouse cafe, so I take her advice and set off to find this mystery beach after visiting Fascadale a mile or so along the road. I park off-road before a farm and follow the private track through the farm and out past a few houses. It’s a lovely walk by a river, with helpful stepping stones set up to get across and on towards the beach. I am surprised to find a family here enjoying the tranquility. I skirt around the edges of the beach to give them their privacy. Besides, this wonderful beach is wide enough to explore and poodle around unseen.
