A few miles up the road from Peninver beach is Saddell Bay, which I had visited a year earlier on a balmy late-summer evening. On that occasion I just visited the Antony Gormley statue, but this time I head further along the bay. Continuing north, we come to picturesque Torrisdale Bay, a small sandy bay with a few car parking spaces beside the road. Today it is busy with a paddle boarding school so I have nowhere to park, hence only being able to take these two almost identical photos!
