52. Carradale Bay
5 August 2022
As we head up the east coast of Kintyre, the mighty Arran looms majestically on our right, just across the water. It’s hard not to keep looking over at this imposing beast of an island as I drive up the coast. I am convinced it’s getting closer every time I look. Soon after Torrisdale, I turn right towards the village of Carradale, with its own superb sandy bay. I walk through the entrance of the Carradale Bay Holiday Park to enter the beach, but access can also be gained further up the road via the village.
