235. Lochranza

Oh I dunno, is it stretching things too much to call this small stretch of sand beside the impressive Lochranza Castle a beach?  Well, it’s sandy on three side and boasts a few boats and plenty of space for a walk or picnic, so I’m counting it. It gives me an excuse to show the castle anyway, dated to around 1200 and a Royal castle since 1371.
