152. Bayble Beach
My four-day trip to the Isles of Lewis and Harris was coming to an end, and I made my way back to Stornoway under cloudy skies and patchy rain, much the same as when I had arrived four days before. Fortunately, the three days in between had been clear and sunny, so I was not one to complain. Arriving back in Stornoway around 4pm I still had time to check out a few of the local beaches I had missed on my rainy first day. I began by heading over to the area known as Point and the small sandy beach of Traigh Pabail, or Bayble beach. A small stone pier sits alongside the beach, which looks out over to Bayble island and the occasional dolphin (but not today).
