The coastline around the settlements of Brue and Barvas change dramatically, from golden sand to large grey storm boulders, created and shaped by the rolling waves of the Atlantic that slam against the shore, attracting the bravest of surfers at sea and the hardiest of nature lovers on land. It’s a beautiful walk along the shore along the stone beaches of Brue and Barvas with the waves crashing just yards away.
