Just south of Brora as I headed towards my homebound flight from Inverness, I stopped for my final beach walk in the hugely popular village of Golspie. The long sand and shingle beach stretches beyond the village at both ends, with Golspie North and Golspie South beaches being divided by a concrete pier which sits alongside an older, rotting timber version far beyond its best days. The beach area around the centre of the village is decorated with benches and flower beds, making it a perfect entry point for a longer walk
