177. Roberts Haven
11 July 2024
My arrival at John O’Groats coincided with a nice spell of sunshine and blue sky after an otherwise murky morning. I wasn’t impressed with John O’Groats itself – a bit tacky and full of gift shops – but I still took the obligatory signpost photo and then set off around the coastal path heading towards the impressive Duncansby Stacks. After just a few minutes we come to the small beach of Roberts Haven just before the Ness of Duncansby.
