32. Kilvickeon Beach
28 March 2022
I imagine that Scoor Beach and Kilvickeon Beach are usually visited as a pair. Once you’ve negotiated the bumpy track at 5 mph to reach Kilvickeon cemetery, you can visit both beaches from the same car park. So for me, after the drama of Scoor Beach, it was back to the car park, and then left past the rather beautiful chapel and small cemetery to the more expansive beach, resplendent with rocks, pools and grazing cattle. I didn’t spend too long here because the nervous cattle were giving me the side-eye and I’m sure they were plotting a move to block off my return route. Respect the cow, I say.
