28. Fionnphort Beach

After three wonderful hours walking around Iona and marvelling at its beaches, it was time to take the short ferry back to Fionnphort. The plan was to make my way eastward along the Ross of Mull, visiting selected beaches along the route. But first, with a Caramel Magnum in hand, there was time for a walk around Fionnphort’s own impressive community beach. The notable feature of this beach is the huge split boulder sitting proudly at the heart of the bay. Hard to miss.
