30. Ardalanish Beach
28 March 2022
It’s literally a three minute drive from the car park at Uisken beach to the small parking area at the back of Ardalanish Beach, or a short walk around the coast. When I arrived at the small car park there were three University of Glasgow mini-buses parked up so it looked like I wouldn’t be having the beach to myself. One of the drivers told me it was a geology field trip, but whatever it was, there were no students in sight when I reached the beach, via the back of the high dunes that frame the bay. Normal service was resumed and I had the beach to myself.
