A short walk north from the Bay at the Back of the Ocean and we come to what many believe is Iona’s prettiest beach. Flanked by cliffs on either side, the warm white sands and turquoise waters are intoxicating, especially when viewed from an elevated position. It’s easy to see why this beach is popular with families. Just alongside the main beach lies another smaller cove, even more inviting in my opinion. I am enjoying my time on Iona and have hardly seen a soul since leaving the ferry.
