A long stretch of coast with a mix of wide bays and rocky coves, collectively know as Longniddry Bents. Three car parks provide access to the beach at various points. I joined at Car Park 1 to access the bay known as Seton Sands. It’s not as attractive as nearby Gullane Bents but understandably popular with families, dog-walkers, hikers, swimmers and (apparently) metal detectors. We’re getting really close to the Edinburgh suburbs now.
