Many people told me on Twitter that Seacliff was the best beach in East Lothian and so I am looking forward to this one, which is only accessible via a private toll road. It’s meant to be a £3 charge but for some reason I am charged a “minimum £5”, which I think is a bit of a cheek. Anyway, it’s a nice beach, surrounded by high cliffs and with great views over to Bass Rock. I can see why Seacliff is popular but the £5 access charge seems excessive.
