Still within the vast John Muir Country Park, we head around the coast to wonderful Tyninghame Links, which is the collective name for the beaches of Ravensheugh Sands in the south and Peffer Sands to the north. There are choices to make from the car park so I opted for the route through Links Wood which emerges at the southern end. This end is rocky with large mossy boulders but an expansive golden sand beach soon takes over, backed by high dunes. This is a beach hailed as one of the best in this part of Scotland and deservedly so.
